In memoriam: Ian Barbour (October 5, 1923 – December 24, 2013)

With great sadness we have known that Dr. Ian Graeme Barbour, physicist, theologian, professor emeritus at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and the 1999 Templeton Prize Laureate died on Tuesday, December 24 after suffering a stroke at his home in Northfield on December 20. St. Andrew’s in 2013

2013 was a difficult year for all of us. The problems of non-profit organizations in Russia have touched St. Andrew's and we had to spend several months time responding to various inquiries and related lawsuits. However, despite these challenges, it was a fruitful year. 20 years of St. Andrew's Publishing House

This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of St. Andrew’s Publishing House. Since its foundation in 1993 we have published more than 300 titles on biblical studies, church history, contemporary theology, theology and science, and many other subjects. From 13 to 15 December 2013 St. Andrew’s organized the 18th St. Andrew's Readings on contemporary theology.
